Property owners in Dane County have a unique opportunity to help create a legacy of permanently affordable homeownership through the Madison Area Community Land Trust (MACLT). By selling or donating your home or land to MACLT, you can Pay it Forward to future low-income families, so that future generations have the opportunity for affordable homeownership.

Workplace giving, available through certain employers, allows for employees to make tax-deductible donations to local charities through payroll contributions, credit card, cash/check, or gift of stock. Many employers will even match your charitable contributions to increase your support for MACLT at no extra cost to you.

How to participate:

• Check with your HR department to see if your employer offers a workplace giving or matching gift program.
• If your employer participates in local workplace giving in Dane County, look for Madison Area Community Land Trust under the list of organizations.
• If you need to complete any required forms or provide your employer with MACLT’s EIN, our EIN is: 39-1680095.

When donating, indicate that your gift is in memory of someone special and include their name. We will send a notification to the family of the person you designate, letting them know of your thoughtful gift. We do not share the amount of the gift when notifying someone of this memorial.
